What are the reasons for going abroad as an artist, how do you organise your travels and what do you need in preparation? And what are your thoughts, questions and tips about going abroad as an artist? On 1 november we will host an Artist Talk and panel discussion to discuss these matters with you and other artists from Utrecht.
During this event, moderator Julia Muller will talk with three artists who went abroad last year, partly thanks to our travel grant. She will talk with them about their experiences, and also how they prepared for and tackled their trip. What were their expectations, and how did they turn out? This artist talk will take place during the open call for the K.F. Hein Travel Grant and is intended for artists and designers who want to explore foreign travel and funding opportunities. Representatives from Fondskwadraat and the Mondriaan Fund will also be present, and they can also be spoken with during the closing drinks.
