Online Q&A | K.F. Hein Kunst & Ontwerp Prijs (Art & Design Award)

Ben jij beeldend kunstenaar of ontwerper en wil je een ontwikkeling maken in jouw kunstpraktijk, dan is de K.F. Hein Kunst & Ontwerp Prijs misschien wel een mooie stap voor jou. Tijdens de online Q&A op 26 februari beantwoorden we graag jouw vragen.
Op 26 februari van 16:00 – 17:00 uur kan je via Teams deelnemen aan het online gesprek. Hierbij zijn Britt Dorenbosch, Said Belhadj, Marlyne Stolker en Demi van de Worp aanwezig. Van vragen over het proces van inzenden en het beoordelen van alle inzendingen, tot de werkperiode en de eindpresentatie in het Centraal Museum; ze lichten alles graag toe. Lees eerst goed de beschikbare informatie en het reglement door. Hierin staat namelijk al heel veel cruciale informatie beschreven.

Over Britt Dorenbosch
Britt is beeldend kunstenaar en woont en werkt in Ateliers de Kersenboomgaard in Utrecht Leidsche Rijn. Sinds 2021 is zij lid van de kunstcommissie van het K.F.Hein Fonds. Het werk van Britt Dorenbosch omvat kleurrijke schilderijen, tekeningen en collages. Daarnaast geeft ze les aan kinderen, studenten en volwassenen. “Uit eigen ervaring weet ik hoe belangrijk het voor je ontwikkeling als kunstenaar is om een steuntje in de rug te krijgen. Het winnen van het K.F. Hein Stipendium in 2016 heeft me enorm geholpen om verder te komen in mijn kunstpraktijk. Dat kwam niet alleen door de financiële ondersteuning, maar juist ook door de reflectiemomenten met de kunstcommissie. Het is geweldig om vanuit deze ervaring nu aan de andere kant te staan en als onderdeel van de kunstcommissie mijn kennis en ervaring terug te kunnen geven.”
Over Said Belhadj
Said is een autodidact maker en eigenaar van Raphia, een ambachtelijk gemaakte schoen in Marokko en Nederland. Tot en met 2024 was hij mede-eigenaar van Puha Shop, een platform voor jong designtalent in Utrecht. Tussen 2020 en 2023 bereikte en begeleidde hij als scout Talentontwikkeling bij het Stimuleringsfonds Creatieve Industrie makers die zich in belangrijke mate op eigen kracht ontwikkelden in hun vak. ”Ook in de kunstwereld is inclusiviteit en diversiteit belangrijk. Het maakt ons allemaal rijker. Als commissielid bij het K.F. Hein Fonds vind ik het fijn de mogelijkheid te krijgen om me hiervoor in te zetten."
Over Marlyne Stolker
Marlyne beoordeelt als adviseur de projectaanvragen voor het K.F. Hein Fonds. Zij is ook secretaris van de Stichting K.F. Hein Fonds Monumenten en van de kunstcommissie.
Demi is als programmamanager verantwoordelijk voor de verschillende programma's en projecten die het fonds initieert. Veel van deze projecten zijn afkomstig van de kunstcommissie. Zodoende is hij nauw betrokken bij de Kunst & Ontwerp Prijs.

About Britt Dorenbosch
Britt Dorenbosch is a visual artist who lives and works at Ateliers de Kersenboomgaard in Utrecht Leidsche Rijn. She has been a member of the K.F. Hein Fonds art committee since 2021. Britt’s work includes colorful paintings, drawings and collages. She also teaches children, students, and adults. "From my own experience, I know how important it is for your development as an artist to get a helping hand. Winning the K.F. Hein Stipendium in 2016 helped me enormously to advance my art practice. This was not only due to the financial support, but also to the moments of reflection with the art committee. It's wonderful to now be on the other side of this experience and to be able to give back my knowledge and experience as part of the art committee."
About Said Belhadj
Said is a self-taught creator and owner of Raphia, a traditionally made shoe manufactured in Morocco and the Netherlands. Until 2024, he was co-owner of Puha Shop, a platform for young design talent in Utrecht. Between 2020 and 2023, as a talent development scout at the Creative Industries Fund NL, he reached out to and mentored creators who were developing their craft largely on their own. “Inclusion and diversity are also important in the art world. It enriches us all. As a committee member of the K.F. Hein Fonds, I am pleased to have the opportunity to contribute to this cause.”
About Marlyne Stolker
Marlyne assesses project applications for the K.F. Hein Fund in her advisory role. She is also secretary of the K.F. Hein Fonds Monuments Foundation and the art committee.
About Demi van de Worp
As program manager, Demi is responsible for the various programs and projects initiated by the fund. Many of these projects originate from the art committee. For this reason, he is closely involved with the Art & Design Award.
